The UCI Institute for Clinical and Translational Science, Community Engagement Unit exists to facilitate community-engaged translational research between academic and community-based researchers. Through annual seed grant awards to collaborating researchers, Community Health Research Exchange (CHRE) speaker series, Community Engagement Consultation services, and other activities, we promote new partnerships to improve health in Southern California. Please explore our communities’ daring and energetic work by perusing CHRE meeting minutes, learning about community engaged projects and researchers, and utilizing resources developed for creating and sustaining effective, successful partnerships.
