The Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Research Design (BERD) Unit’s mission is to contribute to the acceleration of treatment discoveries across the spectrum of human disease/injury by providing and promoting exceptional biostatistical collaboration and education. 

The Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Research Design (BERD) Unit provides the research community with broad access to professional bio-statistical collaboration to ensure high-quality research. It also facilitates improved study designs, reproducible and high-quality data collection methods, appropriate analytic strategies and accurate result reporting.
