Dr. Kai Zheng, PhD, FACMI, Associate Professor of Informatics, Associate Adjunct Professor of Emergency Medicine, and Director of Center for Biomedical Informatics within the ICTS will lead the workshop on March 7th & 8th discussing research informatics tools available at UCI which allow researchers to conduct activities such as cohort discovery, electronic data capture and secure data sharing as well as analysis. He will also touch on the basics of machine learning and how it can be applied to analyze large multidimensional datasets.
