ICTS Project Scientist

The Institute for Clinical and Translational Science at UC Irvine anticipates openings for appointments in the Project Scientist Series. Project Scientists make significant and creative contributions to research or creative projects in an academic discipline and/or may engage in University and public service. Project Scientists are expected to have a broad range of knowledge and competency. Appointment and advancement depends on technical contributions made to research. Positions may be full or part-time and may be with/without salary. Initial appointments are typically one year. Salary is commensurate with experience.

ICTS Specialist 2023-2024

Specialist positions are occasionally available throughout the year in the Institute for Clinical and Translational Science at the University of California, Irvine. These are typically grant‐funded positions under the sponsorship of various faculty members (https://www.icts.uci.edu/). The ideal candidate should be self-driven and motivated, with biomedical or translational research experience strongly preferred. Positions are dependent upon extramural funding. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Appointments are based on performance and availability of funding.

ICTS Researcher

The Institute for Clinical and Translational Science (ICTS) at the University of California, Irvine, seeks a strong candidate for a Researcher series position experienced in Translational Clinical Informatics with an emphasis on clinical genomics and healthcare AI. A candidate for a title in this series must have earned a doctorate or its equivalent and have 5 years of postdoc or industry experience. The ideal candidate should be self-driven and motivated, with biomedical or translational research experience strongly preferred. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Appointments are based on performance and availability of funding.
